To many climate change is the greatest threat to modern civilization. However sadly many also find themselves in positions where they cannot do much to anything about it. Luckily that’s why grassroots movements like this exist. Teamtrees is fundraiser that has the goal of planting 20 million trees by January 2020. The way it works is you donate to the online and for everyone dollar donated a tree is planted. Know I’m well aware that this is far from a solution to climate change but some action to safeguard the environment is better than no action.
