Probably the most controversial article I have written (Please don't hurt me)

So, im going to start by asking that you read this with an open mind and un-clenched fists. From experience, posting anything that questions god/religion on the internet is a great way to get doxed/nailed to the proverbial cross. Though, against my better judgment I have decided to do this anyways.

Have you ever asked a Christian (Or really any other religious individual for that matter) Why they believe what they believe? I have. answers vary, but one thing they all have in common is that when you dig deeper, they cannot answer. this is because religion can be viewed like a cult. Some would argue that the Catholic Church is a cult. I say this because like a cult, those in it are essentially brain washed into believing something. Now, Before you guys go writing 200 word comments consisting largely of profanities, allow me to explain. If two Christine/religious parents have a child, they are most likely to raise there child to believe in it. Because the child has grown up being told that there parents religion is the truth, anything telling them otherwise will just be blown off because it doesn't fit with there beliefs. Its like Flat Earthers, They believe in a conspiracy to make the world believe the Earth is a spinning ball. And anything to the contrary is merely lies told by the Gov't. You cant convince a FE that the Earth is not flat because to them, you are the one who is brainwashed. Religion works the same way.

Lets talk about the bible/Qur'an/ whatever other religious texts. These are all just books, nothing more. Trusting that the Bible is 100% true is like believing everything you read online. Its a book, with words. A book mind you that has been translated and re-writted many times before. What makes this book so special? This is one thing I have never understood. People can lie, Books can lie, so why believe that the Bible is the ultimate truth? Hell, A person could of written it in there basement, claimed that it was (Insert obscure time frame here) years old, and just created a religion around it! Even I could do that, so what makes the bible special?

To put it frankly, the bible (And any other religion) is just a way for the factually and scientifically illiterate to explain the world around them.

If I told you that your poop was edible and that the world doesn't want you to know because large cooperation want to make as much money as possible. and I reinforced this throughout your childhood, you would believe it, and anyone who says otherwise is just part of the conspiracy. Part of the lie, another cog in the money making machine.
